In a crisis, people want to know that you care, more than they care what you know.

It is important to provide prompt responses to crisis and that the organisation take responsibility and express empathy.

Every organization should have a crisis communication plan, but many do not. Here is a template intended to be used to develop a crisis response statement and can be re-purposed to align with your organization’s internal templates and visual identity.
